Ukraine's energy systems have come under escalating strikes in recent weeks

Several individuals were injured while residents in eastern neighborhoods were experienced blackouts and dealt with interruptions to water systems, per reports from city officials.

Authorities reported that hundreds of unmanned aircraft and more than 30 projectiles attacked Ukraine's energy infrastructure, labeling such strikes as "cynical and calculated" and against "essential services" as winter approaches.

The energy minister said Moscow was "inflicting a massive strike" and repair crews were striving to fix the damage.

A series of attacks damaged electrical systems and residential structures in the capital.

Five out of the nine people injured in the strikes on the capital have been hospitalized, as confirmed by local officials.
